Furoku poster, scanned in sections. // Image Source: scanned by me.
Three disclaimers: One, the colors are all wrong! I'm sorry, but there's only so much that I can do to fix up what my scanning software spits out. Two, due to the enormous size of this poster, I had to scan it in sections, and lots of details are lost around the edges and between sections. Three, yes, those are creases across the scans - the poster came folded up. Sorry!

From top to bottom, the pages are read from right to left. And since the white text on page 33 is really hard to read off the scan, CLICK HERE to read what it says. And yes, this image actually IS tinted differently compared to the original from the Japanese edition of Newtype, which is shown above. The English reprint somehow... got more orange. That's not just my scanner, that's true for the actual image itself.

"How to Art" monthly feature. // Source: scanned by me, Japanese page by oro77.
This is so cool - an interview with Temari Matsumoto, the talented artist who illustrates the Ma no Tsuku novels! Matsumoto-sensei discusses her artwork, and teaches how to create digital artwork that looks hand-drawn. My priority in scanning these pages was to keep the text readable; hence, the quality of the illustrative artwork produced on these pages is sacrificed. Oh, um, and the Japanese page (although clearly not from Newtype USA) is included here just because.

A least, I *think* this image is from this particular issue of Newtype, since that was the way it was labeled on kiseki-net.com.

Argh, my scanner couldn't get Julia's colors right at all! So I had to borrow scans from conan4620 instead, for the illustration of Yuuri and Julia.
